"I first called Lindsy to come and do healing on my mare, Stella who had suffered severe head trauma from an accident. Well, I had no idea where it would take me! On that day she also treated my big lad Romeo, I was beyond amazed. His reaction to the healing was indisputable, I could see physically his muscles softening, his breathing altering and he actually lay down during his treatment with his eyes shut. There was so much more going on than I could begin to describe. We then treated Stella and although there were differences obviously with them being individuals, I saw my mare soften from head to toe. Stella turned herself around and put the injured part of her face into Lindsy's hands. She started to breathe really deeply at this point and then after a while she also lay down, closed her eyes and then seemed to be 'scanning' with her eyes flicking back and forth.

We also talked a lot about behaviour with each horse, their different likes, dislikes and issues. Lindsy's knowledge of horse behaviour both from a mental as well as a physical perspective and the reasons behind why they do what they do is on a whole other level but made so much sense. I saw Rome and Stella change over the next few days from the healing and as I began to implement some of the changes to their day to day situations, the only word to use is 'wow'. Lindsy came back to treat another of my horses Disney and having a better idea what to expect, I have to say I was still amazed at what I saw whilst she worked on him. He has gone from a very 'busy' little man to Mr.cool, calm and collected.

This was July 2009 and 7 months later due to a combination of Lindsy's gift for healing as well as her behavioural knowledge I have a yard full of happy, calm, relaxed horses whose health and behaviour goes from strength to strength. Meeting Lindsy has truly changed mine and my horses lives in so many ways. I was so taken aback by everything Lindsy explained to me, I started my first year of the Equine Behaviour Qualification at the Natural Animal Centre in September. Every horse owner needs to be aware of this work which combined with her incredible gift and a level of compassion rarely seen in the horse world, is beyond words."

"I first got to know Lindsy through another healer. This lady referred me to Lindsy and it was after a while of knowing her that my life and my dog's, Kai, life changed direction. My dog's health was becoming of great concern Conventional medicine was failing him so I looked to alternative healing and therapy for him. Kai's life has become so much better due to Lindsy and The Natural Animal Center in South Wales. Lindsy put me in touch with them when he became so ill that I was thinking of putting him to sleep as his quality of life was, well almost non- existent. Thankfully Lindsy has made a huge difference to his life and for that I am extremely grateful.

She has supported me when things were not going quite to plan, which is very important, as being the owner of a sick animal can be very draining both emotionally and physically. She is always at the end of a phone for help and advice.

Lindsy is one of the kindest and caring people I know. She has been treating Kai for some time now and what a difference it has made to his life. As his owner it is truly amazing to watch how calm and relaxed he is during treatment. Most of the time he drifts off into a relaxed sleep and rests for a while after. Then he will get up eat and play, back to his normal self. He is also much happier after treatment and more relaxed in his everyday life."

"I met Lindsy about 5 years ago when a mutual friend introduced us. On the face of it we were not going to see eye to eye. I am a pretty old fashioned, huntin' sort, been around horses for nigh on 45 years and very practical and down to earth. Lindsy is a healer who talks in terms of energy flows. Need I say more?

However, she is also a very nice person, and offered to come and see a pony which had had a very stressful time in his life, resulting in an extremely shut down and tense animal. What did I have to lose except my scepticism?

The change in that pony after two visits was just beyond profound. He went from a tense, not breathing, anxious pony, to a confident (sometimes a bit *too* confident!), outgoing cheeky chappy who gallops over to the gate whenever he sees a headcollar.

Lindsy has become a yard essential now. Whenever a new horse arrives she is on the list with the dentist, wormer and farrier. She has helped horses relax in the stable, stop fretting about their food, and chill out in the field.

I cannot recommend her highly enough. And my scepticism? It's gone off on some energy flow ... "

"Lindsy really helped me with some emotional problems, I really think the world of her. She also helped me with a donkey with severe emotional problems. When I got him he did not trust anyone, he hated children and people. After Lindsy worked on him he became a really sweet donkey – he and my four year old son are now great friends."

"Lindsy came out to see a horse of mine that had real problems after a gas canister exploded in front of her, she became very anxious in herself and spooked at almost anything. Since Lindsy treated her, we haven't looked back, she is now confident and relaxed and all tension has been released. I was absolutely amazed at the work Lindsy did, I have never seen anything like this before, particularly the responses that my horse showed during treatment."

"I have a 10.2hh pony called Timmy, who was rescued by us in October 2004 from a farm in Cheshire. He was actually advertised as a 'lawn mower' and when we found him he was in the most appalling condition. The ILPH were called out and after much cajoling and bribing, we eventually got him to eat. Things progressed , the pony was quiet and he did not mix with the herd, he became laminitic and was also diagnosed with absesses in his feet, things went from bad to worse. Tim was not a typical laminitic pony, no crest, no rapid pulse, no big fat tummy. Reading on the internet I was surprised to find out that laminitis can be caused by stress, this was worth investigating further.

A friend suggested healing and gave me Lindsy's phone number, I was very open to this and willing to try anything that would help my pony. When Lindsy arrived, Tim was standing in his stable looking tucked up and very sad. Lindsy started to work on him and then as she predicted, things started to happen. He started to yawn, his eyes rolled his breathing got deeper and I started to cry!!

The whole experience was totally amazing. Lindsy taught me to ground myself, (what an experience!), she said this would help when I was working with Tim. Lindsy recommended another visit and what to look out for with him, and email her with information. The change was not gradual, he changed there and then, usually he was last to come in but now he was at the front of the herd. His walking was much improved and he seemed to be much more free in himself.

We carried on with the things Lindsy had asked us to do, waiting for the next appointment but always able to contact Lindsy should there be a problem. Lindsy arrived promptly again, she makes you feel very comfortable and explains everything that she is doing as she gets responses from the pony. Tim loved the work, was slow to make contact but was very responsive. The second appointment was not so long but much was achieved.

I now have a lovely relaxed pony, happy with his herd and not afraid of taking his place in the front of the queue. He is more than willing to walk out of his stable now. I am currently waiting for the farrier to assess the laminitis situation but Tim is more sound now than he has ever been and so much happier.

I would recommend a visit by Lindsy to anyone who thinks that their horse/pony is suffering from any stress related problems, give it a go, you know your horse is worth it, and so is she. Well done Lindsy, I am so glad I was given your number."

"I called Lindsy to see my horse after battling with a serious phobia related to her wearing a rug in the field. After three sessions with Lindsy, the problem was turned around, she now canters up the field and plays – this is something she never did before. All the sessions were done in the stable, without a headcollar, she never got upset or stressed, I believe that it was the best thing that I did for my horse and watching her play in the field, everyone that knows her reassures me of that."

"We're very cautious at the Centre about who we allow to work with our horses and we have to see genuine results to be impressed. There is no question that Lindsy has a unique gift in her ability to heal horses and we would have no hesitation in recommending her work."

"I first heard about Lindsy from a colleague at work who had been using her for a number of years for her horses and herself. We were discussing my horse's fears and anxieties that he had come to me with and she thought a session with Lindsy might be able to help him with it. She talked to me about the experiences she had had and how her horses had reacted to the treatments so I decided to give her a call.

Lindsy was friendly and professional from the outset and requested I gain a veterinary referral before any treatments took place. I found this refreshing and a reassuring indication of her professionalism.

During the first session Lindsy talked me through what would happen, got some background of Jazz and gave me a leaflet which detailed aftercare for the horse (again thoroughly professional). She met Jazz and began to work with him. I was fascinated by the reactions he was showing during the session he went slightly dopey with an almost glazed look in his eye and was remarkably relaxed for being in the stable alone. You could see the veins pumping blood round his system and he was yawning very frequently and his joints were clicking.

The information that Lindsy was telling me about where there was tension and blockages in his body and how this affects him I could fully identify with from the behaviour he had been displaying. She also did some work on me, so that I could feel 'grounded' when Jazz needed me to be there for him.

At the end of the session he looked longer, like he had been stretched and was very relaxed! Jazz had a further two sessions and I could definitely see a difference in how he reacted to things, he was much calmer and I saw great improvements in how he reacted when ridden. The work she had done also helped me to remain calm and grounded if he did get upset by something.

Lindsy has provided me with great support and is always there if you are having a problem. When I bought my second horse (a 7 month old foal), Lindsy was there for me when I was worrying about him during his weaning, when I went to visit him he looked very dull and depressed. She provided scientifically based advice on helping him cope with the grief at the loss of his mother and was very supportive during this period.

I would highly recommend Lindsy's services, she has many years experience and is very honest about her work and what it can achieve. She has been a great source of help, advice and support for me during emotional times with my horses, for which I am very grateful. She is truly gifted."

"I have owned Amber, a 16 year old TB mare for 6 years. When I first bought her she was very green in her ridden work and not used to being handled by people. We went through lots of problems, including not picking her feet up, not standing tied up, box walking…the only time she seemed relatively happy was in the field. Through lots of hard work (and several setbacks) over the years, Amber had got to the stage where she was good to handle, although would still get stressed in her stable. Her ridden work had improved in that I could put some leg on her, and have a contact.

Amber’s problems were not helped by the fact that I lost my confidence, and at one point would not get on her unless I was having a lesson. Whilst I have worked hard to get over my confidence issues, I still have problems. By summer 2005 I was happy to ride in walk and trot in the school, and one small paddock. Hacking was something we could only dream of! I was riding Amber in a loose ring snaffle, with a flash and side reins, as otherwise she would snatch at the reins and pull me out of the saddle. I would always long rein before riding. We both still had issues with anxiety.

It was later on in 2005 that I was introduced to Lindsy. She first came to watch me having a lesson on Amber, and told me straight away that Amber felt anxious and restricted by her tack. During that lesson, we took off the flash, loosened the noseband and took off the side reins. By the end of the lesson, I was riding round on a loose rein.

Amber and I both had further sessions with Lindsy after that. Several people have commented to me how chilled out Amber has been this winter. This has only happened since Lindsy helped her deal with her issues of having her foals taken from her whilst being stabled. This winter is the first time she has willingly taken herself into her stable every night. With my riding Lindsy has shown me how to ground and lighten my energy, and these have effectively become my stop and go aids. (I am also starting to take Amber for walks out, and whilst she is interested in everything, she is very sensible, so hopefully we will be hacking soon.

Whilst I had come a long way with Amber, Lindsy has helped as both a lot with anxiety and confidence issues, and I would recommend her to anyone."
